Prom Night

Aka con night. I mean seriously, we paid 70+ and wasted, YES, wasted so much money on this damn night we've been looking forward to since like, forever. What do we get? This noob in-the-middle-of-nowhere hotel and buffet which wasn't even a buffet. "Don't take too much food ah!" WE PAID FOR IT LEH, WHY CANNOT?!?!! >:(

We ended up sitting at this really weird place where everybody was practically mute. Seriously, no conversations whatsoever except between us girls. The events neglected the express people and the people sitting at the back, which is us, and they weren't even that interesting? And it all ended abruptly. Pathetic, much.

I think the only thing we enjoyed was "clubbing" and photo taking. Yup, that has gotta be the best part of the night.

And those confessions we were looking forward to never happened. What the hell, guys, why you no man up and confess?!!!

Going to Kbox with them = Kpop spam = damage to my ears + waste my money

Yo! I think our blog is dead and I'm here to revive it.
Firstly, I'm still traumatised by the release of prelim timetable ytd. This mean I have to start STUDYING alr!! My god, time rly fies.
Secondly, onemanga is going to RIP soon. I am freaking sad, now i have to go other website to view my manga. But seriously Zann and Fion, you guys should try reading Katekyo Hitman Reborn either manga or anime. Trust me, its sooooo much better than Vampire Knight.
Lastly, today I went to watch the movie Inception and i hate it! I want to watch socceror's apprentice.

Hi peepz. I know i ought to be shot at for delaying my post for um... months. But i know ya'll still love me rightttttt :)

Well i WAS gonna post something. But why is the blogger uploading photos thing not working?! So annoying!!

Anyway peeps. Outing suggestions? I know we all wanna go out so bad but we just can't seem to find a day to do so. Screw the addition of my DNT lesson on the last day of extended curriculum. -.-

Results n everything else

Yes Fion I noe i only have 10 post so far n are lacking behind. So right now i'm gonna surpass u guys n emerge victorious to avoid treating katy bb tea. HAHA i used a chim word!!

Well i'll be posting my F&N practical photos after this post, but maybe tml cos i hate posting pics, it take so friggin long to upload. B4 writing abt our results, i shld prob update more abt my personal life (i dun care if u are not interested) and wad i have been doing since i haven been posting for so long.

Flashback:
So far i've been chionging alot of anime like KATEKYO HITMAN REBORN!, FAIRY TAIL & dats all. :D Although its only 2 anime but hitman reborn have 187 episodes! i managed to chiong finish within a week. Dats amazing man! Plus i still have to read hitman reborn manga version, its alot of work. Anyway good news to all korean pop fans bcos WONDERGIRLS IS BACK!!! back with e song 2 DIFFERENT TEARS! Zacky and Jelly

This post, no matter how boring u guys find, may be useful to other rabbit lovers (:

lets start off with some pictures!

This is Jelly. This is Zacky.

Zacky was bought by my parents from a petshop in a farm area around the end of dec, 2007. He was about 10 weeks old then- according to the shop owner; Jelly was bought by a friend in pulua ubin around feb, 2008. His age, well, unknown.

Apparently, their first meeting was when i put both of them together in the cage. I unknowingly put both males- not castrated yet- together. Surprising, or rather luckily, it was love at first sight and things got well in the past 2 years, until now.

I have to say that the one thing i ever regret so bitterly is that when i got them, i did not know how to appretiate rabbits. i did not know how to love them back then so for the first few months, i have vague memories about them. That is very sad becos i they outgrew their baby stage and i had little collection on that ):

well, i have no idea why, when i entered the library one day, i had this strong urge to visit the animal section for information on rabbits and qua-la! That was it. I read up so much, surf the net so often that i knew almost every small details on rabbits. I'm not saying that i'm qualified to be a vet -.-'', i knew how to be a responsible pet owner. how much to feed them, how often they should be let out, the kind of food they can eat etc. My parents would always say that i was a very paranoid owner, but if i can let them enjoy life to the fullest, happily and healthily, why not? ^^

life was good until we adopted a second dog, Miko.

Because she was already 2 yrs old at that time, we had little success in training her to love rabbits. Our first dog, a shitzu, joined us together with the rabbits so you can say they are good friends? Furthermore, Miko had that ' predator-prey' instinct. So whenever my rabbits were out, we had to take extra precaution not to let them near the dog. Well, that was easier said than done.

On 16 feb 2010, one not so fine day, Zacky ran past Miko and Miko instinctively bit him. I was in the room but becos the door was not close i saw everything. Unfortunately, due to human error, i could only react 2 seconds later and by the time i screamed, Zacky got bitten already. It was not the kind of bite that would make one bleed profusely but a scratch and plus the amount of fur Zacky had, i did not notice that he was scratched back then. Zacky was traumatised instantly and i immediately brought him into my room to calm him down. He needed the tranquility as he was very stressed already. I tried to talk to him in a very soft tone but he was very scared. I tried to give him some hay to eat but he rejected. Now that was weird becos my rabbits love hay alot. Anyway i tried giving him all sorts of food that he loved before, pellets, apples, vegetables. But he had none! I was very scared that he might die. My parents told me to leave him be and I did but the situation did not improve. And becos i thought nothing of it at first, i did not bring him to the vet. He w0uld only eat a few pieces of hay now (which i thought that he was getting better) and i had to syringe feed him water. He also stop defecating altogether. 4 days later i knew i had to do something. I research again and again until i came upon an article on GI stasis.

What is GI stasis? When the speed with which material moves through the rabbit system is altered, it can affect how quickly the stomach and cecum empty. This causes a lack of appetite for both food and water, causing the body to extract water from the stomach, which aggravates the situation because the contents in the gastrointestinal tract becomes further dehydrated and impacted. This causes the bunny to feel full and uncomfortable which gives the rabbit ' i dunwan to eat' thinking. This causes the rabbit to become anorexic and can die if it is not treated. It is very fatal and life-threatening.

Back to the story. Since the situation did not improve and GI stasis is so scary, i finally brought him to the vet on 24 feb. It took me a while to convince my parents as they know a trip to the vet will not be cheap and to find a rabbit-savvy vet in singapore is not easy. Nevertheless, i made thorough research from house rabbit society singapore (HRSS) and finally persuaded my parents to bring Zacky to the vet in Ang Mo Kio. It is called 'The Animal Doctors' located at block 108, amk ave 4, #01-96, S560108. I strongly recommend Dr Cathy Chan or Dr Chionh Su Lin. Anyway, Dr Chionh confirmed Zacky to be suffering from gut stasis and gave him injections and medications. Zacky was given:

critical care (oxbow) powder
enrofloxacin (baytril) 5% injection
enrofloxacin 10% (baytril) solution
metoclopromide (metomide) 5mg/ml injection
metoclopromide syrup 1mg/ml
ranitidine 25mg/ml injection
fluids- subcutaneous

Of cos, Zacky did not made immediate recovery. It was a very slow recovery and stressing for me as i wanted so badly for Zacky to recover. He developed a fever the following day and my mum had to go back to the doctor to get medication for him. However, the fever subsided and i did not feed it to him in the end. I also felt a growth of lump below his chest. The vet told me that the fluid that was given to him will form a lump but will be gone in the next few hours. However the lump did not disappear and it became red.

Yes, i know its very scary but i had no experience with the fluid thing thats why i did not know how it was suppose to look like. Also, Zacky's appetite was improving and he started to poop. Zacky started to become more active and alert. Thus, i neglected the lump there, thinking that it would subside. Now here comes the complication. Becos both rabbits were not castrated then, they always er, hump each other? >.<>

Anyway, I found out that the lump on Zacky's chest was called an abscess. I brought him to the vet again. This time it was Dr Chan becos Dr Chionh was not in. Dr Chan said that the lump was very big and needed to be surgically removed. Otherwise we could try some antibiotics to see whether it would get smaller. I decided to go with the op as the abscess was too big already. And since Dr Chan knew about their fighting, she advised me to castrate them both. I agreed and an appointment was booked for the operation. Jelly would be castrated and Zacky would also be castrated but with the addition of the abscess removal. The date was set on 10 March, wed. Note: never make a rabbit fast before the operation. Rabbits should never fast and diet should be as per normal.

The following night, Zacky's abscess burst and pus was oozing out. I called the vet immediately but she told me not to worry. I was told to clean it away with a wet tissue and also to prevent the rabbit from licking the pus as it may have bacteria. The pus was suppose to dry and heal.

I prayed every night for the operation to be a success. After all, who knows what can happen? Finally, the day came. My parents allowed my to skip school in the morning to bring my rabbits to the vet. I was desperately holding back my tears and the vet assured me that all would be fine. I was so afraid that that would be the last time i see them. My parents brought me to have sushi for lunch and brought me back to school. I cried in class and for this i would like to thank yb and zann, once again for being thr for me. Yan Beng you were great (: oh zann too! and er ch, u were mia-ing. Okay here's the funny part. becos i was absent in the morning and went back to school only for afternoon lessons, I had to give a letter to my all so..hmm..dunno how to describe teacher, Mr Shafee. My mum stated that i had to bring my rabbits to the vet in the letter so when Shafee read it, he burst out laughing. I was like, hello, someone crying here!?!!? Anyway from then on he never stop teasing me about rabbits. How he loved rabbit meat. BLAH BLAH. He's a monster i tell u. Nevertheless, we still love him ^^

okok. I was a bad bad customer, patient, whatever. I kept calling the clinic to ask for the progress of my rabbits. The moment i was waiting for- their operation was a success!!! oh, how happy i was.

When i went to the clinic to "collect" my babies, the vet explain to me that during the op, she realised the abscess was very big. She concluded that it was a DOG BITE. -.- you have no idea how much i was cursing and swearing at that stupid dog back then. er, mei if you're reading this, i now love her very much so dun angry ^.^ becos it was a dog bite, i had to bring Zacky back to the vet every 2 days for an injection for antibiotics against dog bacteria or blah for 2 weeks. Boy, my daddy had to bring me to and fro until he pek chek ah. Not cheap leh. One jab cost 8 bucks every trip.

Well, life goes on, they are still fighting. Very often, their nose will have blood becos they bite each other. It was not becos i let them both out together but becos their cage have gaps in between so whenever one ran past another they will start scratching. Once, i accidentally let both of them out. It happened so fast. Jelly bite Zacky's eye and his eyelid tear. I manage to stop the bleeding and again, brought Zacky to the vet. Doctor gave him acular eyedrops 5ml and ciprofloxacin (novaflox) 0.3% eye/ear drops. So stupid right me!#$#%$$%^%.
I choose not to stitch the wound as the vet say it will heal.

Fast forward to 12 may. This time Jelly got gut stasis. I really dunno what happen. He was fine the night before and the next day, he stopped eating all together. His ears were so cold. I knew and had experience with this now. I immediately brought him to the vet and the procedure was the same. Same medication and injection. I bought all sorts of herbs to tempt Jelly but it was so hard! This rabbit is just too picky! Parsley, coriander, mint leaf etc. Anyway, he recovered well and i just had to say, Jelly's illness was a blessing in disguise. My sis was the one that said that. Well becos Jelly was very hmm.. tame? in the past he would nip me every now and then. but when he was sick he totally stop biting me. I took the opportunity to bring both of them to a neutral territory- the toilet, and let them interact with each other. It was definately a miracle. From that day, they became good friends, even now as i'm typing, they are sleeping together. I finally had the chance to put their cage back together. As a rabbit owner, the sense of satisfaction I feel, is really hard to describe. I thank God every night for this wonderful miracle he blessed me with.

BUT. let me add more rules to the game since life is never so easy. at the end of the month, or week, the one who posts the LEAST will have to do something for KATY. eg. treat bubble tea for everyone or make sure that person post the most the following month. i'm a genius right? hmm. it seems that a mad person can produce more brain juice huh. you guys. better do something.

Hi peepo. Late post but compared to zann and yanbeng im quite ok.
I got like 6Class tests coming up on mon and tue. 6 -.- crazy fellas.
I will be posting smt interesting but its all words. make sure you last till then. interesting for me to think abt anway.
B4 i start may i instil this in your mind . this is not my personal blog. so whatever rubbish they write doesnt mean i wrote them (: thanks.

SUMMARY OF K.A.T.Y*:

lets start from the day we step into bwss:

* Dec 2006 : perhaps the most humiliating times for yanbeng! She fell down while trying to stand up during the register for sec1 thingy. Haha. It was a pity since i did not witness it but fi and sherzann did. lololol.

* first day of school : sat with cherilyn. she thought i guai kia and zann gangsta sia! then during sec1 orientation got into arguement with weilun. uhh whatever. had to sit in a circle and intro ourselves. the ~~noob~~ i mean girl beside me was xiao zann! i assume fion started conversation with yb? ya ya.

* Seating arrangements : Me and Zann wanted to avoid sitting infront so we targetted at the back but mrs choy made the boy girl boy girl seating arrangement. oh goodness me. zann nicholas me wangjue. i swear it was hell. yanbeng was sitting one row infront of me. we were at the right side and fion at the left side. i rmb fifi sat with chungyang. there was this rumor neh or wassit true? fi , fess up man.

* sec 1 camp : i really hate digging my memories up for this one but i have to for the sake of this. Me and zann got off the bus upon reaching and lined up behind fi and yb. i still rmb yb said this to us (the katy first conversation?) " you know she (fion) partner with sunnykong/boonliang
in homec class?" fion pek chey. lol. zann lucky fella eh. partner with ct. pffft. so anyway we pitched tent , fight mosquitoes, got drenched - rain rmb? , played lame bonding games. oh and there was the water bombing session. im not sure if you guys played but i noe zann didnt ; i went on a rampage cause yunjie bullseye me. lol
I guess it was fate that the KATY actually slept in the same tent!.............. with michelle. ok michelle damn extra here. -.- spoil the whole memory thing. we were in agony cause it was raining and there she was, snoring away. we "lock ourselves in the tent" or the people at the side ( me and fi) will be drenched, and it got real stuffy. dilemma. so anyway me and fi went to the toilet and when we came back zann unconsciously rolled to the side of the tent, happily took my place. and i happily took her place. and she got drenched cause i never lock the thing . pffft.
what else happen? uhh oh ya fion crying cause she homesick? omg fifi grow up please. and potato guy keep kajiaoing her. anyway i same group as yanbeng and fion&zann another group due to reg number. 2nd night we slept in a big hut. girls one side boys one side. instructors in the middle. lol. bond with dawn. idk where yb and fi die to.

* CCA : so during music lesson, mr foong came in and chose peepo to join choir. :o one whole bunch of us got chosen =.= cindry,dawn, me , zann, cherilyn, tonglin. the guys too. kinkey, vinesh, roysius, yijin. lol. met tricia there too. hah. i know fion joined interact club. i was like uhh ok sounds foreign to me. and yanbeng joined npcc and regret darn much. i rmb she said this " after npcc, even if you drink plain water it tastes so nice and sweet " uhh. ya. so anyway later on she joined fion ; interact club. and me and zann were soprano1 x))

* common test: Nehhhh horribly done ; thats for sure. the worst exam ever. for me. not sure for others. i rmb zann level position damn far back sia. 180+? ok not so much but whatever. i rmb i got last or second last for science sia; first time failing. now im taking triple sci. how ironic. i hated sci like mad.

* sports day : ok seriously 0% recollection of this. i cant rmb anything. perhaps me and zann brought one whole chunk of food and feast over there or smt? must be. idk where yb and fi are. -_- i do noe we are not suppose to scream cause syf coming. zzz

It suck bcos of our member consist of e nerdy ppl which is like wth so nt fun! Our

Camp instructor e blackie is naggy, she is like so a grandma! scolding, nagging n blah blah blah............

But the dragon boat quite fun la, too bad Hot Stuff got trash by A1. when dey splash e water on us using e paddle, its like splashing us wif buckets of water! I wonder how they do it, its god dam difficult!!!

i broke Zacky and Jelly's waterbottle so i gave them angel's one which apparently they hate it so i guess they are kinda dehydrating? so i had to hand feed them.. =x

But before that...

They started ignoring me...

so hurting T.T

and then there was a war.. obviously my smart jelly ran away :D

so no choice i had to put their original water bottle back.. and then a small container under it so the water can drip in there instead on the floor..

and they happily drink it and zacky gave me a kiss :D how sweet!!

Chenhui asked me to post about the batam trip thingy.
So here ya go.
I practically copied and pasted everything from my post to here.
Hope you guys don't mind or anything. :x

Day 1.

Assembled @ Tenah merah terminal, waited for the boat.
Waited for almost 2 hours before boarding.
The boat was shaking like hell manxzxz.
Even the platform we stood on shaked damn majorly. -.-
So with major shaking comes major headaches.
Good thing i ate the sea sickness pill or whatever you call that.
Slept in the boat.

And held our luggages like this.

LOL, pro right. :):):)
Reached Batam, wasn't as bad as i expected.

Mrs Yong's daughter's so freaking cute!
Bus-ed to the resort after that.

It didn't take very long.
Upon our arrival, immediately went for the workshop held by one of the clinicians.
Instead of listening to him, i was doing stupid things.
Like looking for flaws in the room. LOL

Seeeee, got hole!
It was so distracting. x.x

After that, we checked in.
Room 120! ♥
Jessica and Chenhui went in and started screaming.
They threw all the luggage to me.
So i was outside screaming at them. -.-
Public nuisance, i likeeee it!
Went in and started taking photos and unpacking.

I'm freaking sure that we're the ones who brought the most food. LOL
Eating is ♥!!!
Jessica went to bathe, and me and Chenhui got hyperrrr!

All Converse shoes, LOL.
Went for dinner(buffet style worxzx), went through our songs, and it was time to perform.
Somebody in sop zao sia-ed like hell in the middle of the second song.
Like omg please.

Debrief after that.
Played this so called game called Angel and Mortal.
Which is, the angel has to write encouragement letters daily to his/her mortal but the identity of the angel will be kept a secret until the last day.
Kinda lame, but also quite fun.
We got to pick our mortal.
I got one of our seniors.
Chenhui got Jessica, LOOOL.
Same room sia, exciting much. xD

Went back to our rooms and bathed.
Sops had this meeting thing in our room.
Everyone who came in all waaaah-ed at our food, LOL.
After everyone left, we did mani-pedi. :S
Chatted and went to bed.

Day 2.
Woke up at six.

All had insufficient sleep. *.*
Bathed, saw some letter from our fellow angels.

Chenhui wrote to Jessica while she was out.
She wrote it on toilet paper. LOL!@#$%

When Jessica saw it, she went around telling everybody.
Freak it, it was so damn frigging hilarious. x.x
Breakfast!
Had workshop on the set piece for SYF with other schools for an hour.
After that was another workshop for our school for another hour.
Lunch-ed and went to practise our songs.
Then came another workshop for another hour. -_-

Break, then had craft practice.
Did straw hearts, paper stars and friendship bands.
Learnt how to do stars since i didn't know how to do anything. :x
Was supposed to be teambuilding after that but i think it was cancelled?
So me and Chenhui went slacking around.
And eventually ended up in Vivien's room hypering our heads off, singing stupid tv commercials.
Baby alive, a baby so real~ LOL

Jessica just suddenly popped into the picture. O:
Actually still got a few more one luh.
But then Chenhui went to delete them, TSK.
Dinner, went mad.
Challenged yam senging with other schools. LOL
Mingwei(tour guide) came and went SIAO AH! at us. LOOOOL
Went for the so called friendship concert after that.

Still the same, except taller and with a flater nose. :S

At night, me and Chenhui went out to explore to place.

Damn surprised to see this.

Anyway, it was freaking scary!
Went back, and slept early since we were exhausted.

Day 3.
Woke up, bathed and went for breakfast.

Act cool, so cool. LOL!
After that had warm up with the other schools.
Hell, we were late. D:
Sectionals after that.
Sops came into our room again since the keyboard's there.

Changed and went for teambuilding @ the beach.
Played games like the eagle and the chicks, which was damn disasterous since there were so many people, do you like your neighbour, and some farm game. -.-
After the games we were given time to take photos!

Went for lunch, then practice.
Free time after that, woooooo ~

Went for dinner and went back to change into our gowns and black heels.

Disgusting, i know.
But you can say i'm already used to it.
Went through our songs and it was time to perform ~

Place on the right is where we performed, though can't see clearly.
You can say this is where we have our meals too.
The place was so freaking hot.
Sweated like mad. -.-
We were the 5th to perform, i was panicking like hell. x.x
Good thing i was at the last row.
Nothing much to say, except that we rushed through the songs like mad.

Debrief after that.
All were like damn hyper before Mr Foong came and lectured us.
We didn't sing very well, so maybe we're changing the jap song to a chinese one.
Ewwww, chinese. :(

Went back and partied after debrief.
There was a party in someone's room, but didn't go.
Partied on our own in our own room.
Our way of partying was to eat like pigs, so we did. LOL
Vivien came and joined us.
Went down to call room service since we could eat anything already. xD
Ordered Fish n Chips and ICE CREAM! *inserts many hearts*

Slept @ around 2 since there was nothing else to do.

Day 4.

All woke up late omg. ._.
Bathed and went for breakfast.

This was the only picture of the food we ate i took. x.x

Went back for final pack up.
We were told there was a meeting in Mr Chua's room, so we went.
Turns out Sylvia's phone went missing, and they wanted to do individual spot checks.
So we had to go back to our room and wait there until a teacher comes.
Ms Victoria was the one who checked our luggages.
All clear! Obviously.
The individual spot checks were all in vain, since nothing was found.
No choice, had to leave for the orphanage already.

Some old lady(another tour guide) was talking about batam on the bus.
Hell, she was speaking so damn slowly la.
Like every few words pause for don't know how long. -.-
I fell asleep eventually.
Reached destination, walked to the orphanage.
Freaking hot!
Regretted wearing skinnies. :(

The place was quite small.
Anyway, sang song for the kids first.
They sang along too. :D
After that played games, london bridge and eagle catch the chicks.
They were like having so much fun luh.
All so freaking adorable man. ♥♥

After that we taught them crafts.
I just made stars for them.
Everytime i give one to a kid, they'll smile at me.
It so totally melted my heart can. x.x

Vivien gave my teddy bear to this kid.
She's like, the cutest and chioest one la lol. :S
Had to leave shortly fter that due to lack of time.
So we bid our farewells.

Bus-ed to some restaurant for lunch.
Sadly for me, it was a seafood restaurant.
Everything they served all seafood one, except for the kangkong with chilli.
I only ate that, but it was so damn spicy.
So i didn't really eat a lot luh.
But for seafood lovers, it was like a feast for them man.

Went to a huge mall after that.
We were given 1.5 hour to shop.
NOT ENOUGH LA!!!!!!! :(
Only managed to buy a few things.

That pink pouch thing is for my sis k. ._.
Still got one top, but i didn't take.

Assembled at the entrance after the 1.5 hour.
Regretted not buying many things like !@#$%^&*()
And i still am, sigh. :(
Bought McFlurry and boarded the bus.
The McFlurry there only costs like than a dollar man! O:
Went to the boat terminal, bought food back.
Boarded the boat.
It jumped like mad during the journey back to Singapore.
I was trying to sleep, but Chenhui kept waking me up. -.-
Reached Singapore, said our goodbyes and see you next years.
Cried also. Nah, just kidding. LOL

Exhausted, but i enjoyed myself. :)
